Holiday Overview
Churchill is a small, northern community with a lot of character; you won’t find one of the big-chain hotels here that you might find in a larger centre. You will, however, find warm, down-home hospitality and clean, comfortable hotels with all the amenities.Staying in town will allow you to walk to and from the different venues, spend some time on your own, and perhaps meet some of the locals.
This Churchill hotel-based adventure allows you to experience the excitement of polar bear viewign from an offical Tundra Buggy, as well as enjoy the eclectric charm of this unique northern town.
The Churchill Town and Tundra Adventurer includes full-day Tundra Buggy excursions in the Churchill Wildlife Management Area (CWMA), where polar bears await the freezing of the Hudson Bay. Guests will spend plenty of time watching these majestic mammals, and other artic wildlife, in their natural environment. There is ample time to discover Churchill's personality by exploring unique shops, family run restaurants boasting delicious regional cuisine, and cultural museums that portray the historical importance of the area.

Note: Luggage allowance is maximum two pieces of checked luggage per person (up to 70lbs total) and one piece of carry-on per person (max. 15 lbs total). Please note that there is an opion to store additional luggage in Winnipeg

Day 1 - Arrive Winnipeg
Arrive in Winnipeg. This evening you will have a meet and greet with your guide and fellow travellers for the next 4 days. This allows you to ask any last minute questions that you may have and get a more detailed plan of your big adventure.
Day 2 - Fly Winnipeg to Churchill
Early morning flight to Churchill. Activities: Interpretive transfer into Churchill; free time in the town of Churchill to explore. Recommended Activities: Itsanitaq Museum, Parks Canada Visitor Centre, shopping.
Day 3 - Tundra Explorer
You will be transferred from town to the Tundra Buggy Launch where you will board a Buggy and begin your full day search for wildlife. The Buggy meanders over a system of established trails, stopping at leisure to enjoy the scenery, search for wildlife and take photos
Day 4 - Tundra Explorer
After your overnight in Churchill, it's back on the trail of the polar bears for the full day. Evening flight to Winnipeg, where you will overnight.
Day 5 - Your tour ends
After your overnight in Winnipeg, your tour ends.
