The Old Mill Country Lodge is in a prime position at the foothills of the Swartberg Mountains and not far from the subterranean world of the Cango Caves, South Africa’s oldest tourist attraction. The lodge gets its name from the Old Mill and wheat from the valley was once milled here.

The restaurant is a historic building with the old watermill still inside, which is over 150 years old. It’s a lodge with charm and an aura of relaxed simplicity. The Grobelaarsriver passes through the farm, only enhancing that natural country feel. Horse-riding, hiking and swimming are popular pastimes.
