Local bars and restaurants are located in the two main centres, Bang La On and Bang Niang, both can be accessed easily by taxi or hotel shuttle. There is also a night market in Bang Niang. Khao Lak is surrounded by nature and is a great beach gateway to the nearby Khao Sok National Park.
