Singapore Stop Over

Singapore was founded as a colonial trading port by Sir Stamford Raffles in 1819 and has been a gateway from East to West ever since.

Fitting perfectly into most Australasia itineraries, Singapore breaks up the flight and offers a taste of the Orient. Visitors can experience a mixture of Malay, Chinese, Indian and colonial influences in districts such as Chinatown, Kampong Glam and Little India. Apart from its rich cultural heritage, Singapore has one of the most modern city centres in the world with an impressive bay skyline and an abundance of shopping options in landmark areas such as the iconic Orchard Road & Marina Square.
