  • Spacious Double or Twin cabin almost twice the size of a Gold Premium Twin or Gold Twin cabin
  • All-inclusive dining, beverages and Off Train Experiences
  • By day, cabins are set up lounge-style with a moveable table and two ottomans
  • By night, lounges are converted to double or twin beds
  • Luxuriously soft linen and satin eye masks
  • En suite equipped with separate shower, vanity with cupboard space, and toilet
  • Premium Jurlique amenities
  • Power outlets and in-cabin safe
  • In-cabin music channels and journey audio commentary
  • Panoramic windows offering views from both sides of the train
  • Access to the exclusive Platinum Club for dining and socialising
  • Freshly prepared continental breakfasts served upon request in-cabin

Platinum Club

Exclusively available to Platinum and Aurora Australis guests, the Platinum Club is an elegant, private carriage that captures the romance of classic train travel. Its sophisticated design features quartzite tabletops, timber flooring, brass accents, and leather banquette seating in soft, earthy tones of ash, moss, and sepia.

By day, the carriage serves as a luxurious lounge where guests can unwind, mingle, and admire the ever-changing landscapes through wide panoramic windows. Attentive Platinum Hosts are always on hand to serve a full range of beverages including cocktails, barista-made coffee, and fine Australian wines, while also pointing out scenic highlights along the way.

In the Platinum Club dining area, every meal is a culinary event. Start your mornings with a hearty breakfast, enjoy a relaxed two-course lunch, and indulge in an exquisite five-course dinner each dish inspired by the regions you travel through and made with premium local ingredients. Dining is elevated even further with Champagne Bollinger and an exceptional selection of premium wines to accompany each course.
