You’ll be carried 450 metres above Queenstown and Lake Wakatipu to the top of Bob's Peak, where you’ll enjoy a spectacular 220-degree panorama with breath-taking views of Coronet Peak, The Remarkables, Walter and Cecil Peak and, of course, Queenstown.
When you get to the top, enjoy the spectacular views while having a drink from the Bar, take a few rides on the thrilling Luge (once is never enough), refuel with a sumptuous buffet lunch or dinner at Stratosfare Restaurant and finish your day with an awe-inspiring Stargazing tour. Take a Gondola ride to Bob’s Peak, situated high above Queenstown, and journey into the hidden world of the Southern night sky with our awe-inspiring Stargazing tour.
On clear nights, our knowledgeable stargazing guides will lead you up Bob’s Peak where, with our powerful telescopes, you will discover sights from our galaxy not visible to the naked eye.
After the 60-minute tour (approximately) you're welcome to stay longer and enjoy a complimentary cup of hot chocolate in our Stratosfare Bar.
No matter the weather, we offer both an outdoor and indoor Stargazing Experience so you are guaranteed to enjoy your night. In case the conditions are unsuitable for the outdoor experience, we will offer you the option to book for an outdoor tour at a later date or settle into our Moonlight Theatre with a complimentary drink and snack for the indoor experience, "A Journey into the Night Sky"*
