Cabins
Economy
Passengers will relax in comfortable and spacious seats which recline and have more leg room. For those travelling on The Canadian route, you can access a vestibule and restrooms. The Skyline car offers meals for purchase. The Ocean route gives access to the Renaissance sleeping car, dining car and services car where you can relax and watch TV.

Sleeper Plus
You’ll be able to enjoy a bed in a one, two or four-berth cabin with a shower. For passengers travelling on The Canadian route, you can access the Panorama and Skyline cars, the Park car’s bar and lounges, plus the meals in Dining car. The Ocean route passengers have access to the Dining car, Services car and Park car.

Prestige
Prestige class is only available on The Canadian route. Spaces are limited with this luxury option, so it’s important to book early. There is a private cabin with en-suite and a double bed which converts into a seating and TV area. The cabin has a private washroom with shower. Prestige passengers will savour gourmet meals and bar service (alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages), and have access to reserved seating in the Park car, Panorama car and Dining car.

A: Food and beverages (coffee, alcohol, soft drinks, sandwiches, etc.) are available. Depending on the class of travel you choose, food and beverages are either included or available for purchase on board.
Q: Is there Wi-Fi onboard?
A:There is no Wi-Fi on-board The Canadian train as well as limited phone connection. There is Wi-Fi available at Vancouver, Jasper, Winnipeg, and Toronto train stations in the business lounges. We recommend downloading any music, podcasts or movies you may wish to watch during your journey.
For guests traveling on the Corridor service, complementary Wi-Fi is available onboard the trains and in the business lounge in the train stations.
Q: How much luggage can I bring onboard VIA Rail?
The baggage limits differ depending on which route you are travelling on and class. Your bags will be weighted at check in and if your bags are overweight you may be subject to extra charges.
